The Director, Sales (Cisco) will develop and facilitate the profitable partnership and strategic oversight, along with all sales objectives for the Cisco business/product lines/channel lines on a national basis and expands market share in existing and new markets. Leads entire Cisco sales organization to include field and inside sales teams, managers and senior managers and Manila sales support team. Develops and manages a strategic sales/business plan for consumer/internet markets to include operating budget; develops future strategies and new customer initiatives; provides oversight and direction to managers in attaining revenue goals and profit objectives; provides executive presence and complex problem resolution to both internal and external customers; participates in important/strategic negotiations with key resellers and vendors. Makes final decisions on administrative and operational matters including items directly impacting P&L. Expected to contribute to strategic sales plan and objectives at the company level. Serves as company representative at large initiatives and strategic business/market developments. Manages approximately $2B in revenue. Formulates and recommends plans, policies, goals and objectives for the organization's sale activities to expand market share in existing markets and capture new markets. Interacts with key customers requiring negotiation of extremely difficult matters to influence business decisions and expand existing/develop new market share. Accountable for making national account assignments.
