Your responsibilities

As a smart, collaborative and technically savvy BDM (ideally, with an understanding of Unified Communications market), you will tackle this unique and exciting role, playing a vital part in the continued growth and success of IMNZ, our vendors and partners. The role would draw on the Pro AV team's range of products to create, promote and sell full MTR (Microsoft Teams Rooms) solutions to the channel.

  • Identify and target new resellers through new partner acquisition to grow Microsoft Teams Rooms business
  • Negotiate, review and analyse all new reseller contracts from inception to final completion with objective to maximize profitability and ensure contract compliance as required
  • Be the subject matter expert for M365/Teams/MTR /Microsoft Teams Room Standard & Premium
  • Deliver effective sales & technical workshops, bootcamps, trainings necessary to build the skills and expertise of partners
  • Enable select resellers to design, develop and deliver device and service offers to drive the value of Microsoft solutions in the market
  • Deliver deep insights back to the business - understand the collaboration sales and competitive landscape, build insights and lead discussion on challenges and solutions
  • Effectively manage and grow sales within New Zealand and associated opportunities nationally
  • Build, maintain and expand high quality relationships with technical and business executives

What we are looking for in our Business Development Manager (MS Teams Rooms)

  • Prior experience in related partner sales or technical experience required, with preference to voice, communication, collaboration & AV
  • Experience and knowledge of the collaboration & solution selling
  • Ability to explain key solutions and architectures, including Microsoft Teams Rooms Device solutions, applications, and Application Integration Services
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities
  • Knowledge & understanding of cloud and hybrid infrastructures, Office 365 and Networking
  • Have superior interpersonal and communication skills that build credible internal and external working relationships
  • Being persuasive in both written and oral presentations is a must
  • The ability to plan and implement marketing plans and business strategies
  • Ability to take ownership and drive the sales process autonomously
