Our ideal candidate is someone who possesses excellent communication skills, thought leadership in their role, and an innovative problem solver who isn’t afraid to think outside-of-the-box to provide the best solutions for our partners.

This leader is responsible for driving our digital marketing strategy and execution to deliver multitouch inbound and outbound campaigns, as well as manage our digital properties (web, social, and third party).

Specific responsibilities include allocating budget, selecting targets, determining the tactical mix, and setting individual program goals and measurement criteria. This person will also manage external digital agencies and internal resources, create digital demand programs as a shared service to campaign teams, and build/manage shared demand processes with our extended team.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead global digital marketing strategy, development and execution in line with CloudBlue marketing overall strategy and goals, executing measurable digital marketing programs that drive qualified leads to our CloudBlue sales teams
  • Drive interlock with campaign and field marketing leaders to ensure agreement on priorities, adjusting as required by changing market conditions and emerging opportunities
  • Lead website strategy and management to ensure that inbound traffic and activity is captured and the web experience is optimized for conversion
  • Implement testing methodologies to enhance the demand process, including response and conversion rates, and multivariate testing
  • Define the end-to-end demand management process in conjunction with sales operations and marketing operations, including contact data capture, buying group mapping, and service-level agreements
  • Ensure thorough coverage and penetration of our target account lists and lookalike audience targets
  • Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on the impact of digital and demand activities on sales pipeline, revenue, and sales cycle length
  • Evaluate, select, and manage outside vendors that contribute to demand programs
  • Manage and adhere to digital marketing budget
  • Develop a deep understanding of CloudBlue’s overall strategy, target audience, and customer base in order to develop effective campaign messaging
  • Collect and analyze digital campaign results, reporting and sharing insights with leadership

 What you bring to the role:

  • 8+ years of relevant work in digital marketing, preferably in B2B and tech/software
  • 2+ years managing a team
  • Experience building and implementing ABM digital marketing strategy and campaigns including integrated digital marketing, web, email, paid media and social
  • Compassionate leader who is purposeful with their engagements with the team
  • Excellent communicator – both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Proactive, self-starter with enthusiasm for challenges
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and unexpected change
  • Familiarity with modern marketing platforms and tools such as CRM (Salesforce.com, Dynamics), marketing automation (Eloqua, Pardot), social media (LinkedIn, Twitter), paid search (Google, Bing), and reporting (Domo, Adobe, Tableau)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
