Ingram Micro is seeking a UX researcher focused on analyzing complex workflows and uncovering meaningful customer-centered insights to drive great design decisions. You’ll help UX designers, product managers and engineers understand needs of our clients and effectively address our users’ problems.

Responsibilities  

• Develop and execute research plans with clear research objectives.
• Choose the best methodology (qualitative or quantitative) based on research questions, timeline and available resources.
• Write usability research screeners and discussion guides.
• Recruit targeted end-users for specific research studies.
• Moderate one-on-one sessions with respondents both remotely and face-to-face.
• Help develop and implement quantitative surveys.
• Conduct stakeholder and customer interviews.
• Translate user insights into actionable recommendations for the product team.
• Extract insights about user behavior from web instrumentation tools.
• Craft personas, journey maps, UX research papers and other content to communicate insights across the product management, design and development teams.
• Present design research findings to the larger team in a clear and organized fashion.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, engineers.

Requirements: 

• 2 to 4 year of experience conducting user research and usability testing
• Experience with research design utilising various methods including but not limited to usability studies, interviewing, surveying.
• End-to-end experience with all aspects of the user research lifecycle (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, communicating).
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Previous experience in user research of complex B2B products.
• Ability to develop wireframes and low fidelity prototypes considered as nice to have.

• The amount and quality of research findings.
• Meeting delivery timeline targets.
