Responsibilities:
  1. Provides inventory reports to facility leadership and inventory control manager.
  2. Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates updates to related database and/or software under the direction of the inventory control manager.
  3. Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
  4. Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems.
  5. Oversees stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.
  6. Locates items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers.
  7. Performs daily physical inventory audits.
  8. Performs other related duties as requested.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  1. Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside vendors.
  2. Familiarity with ERP and data entry systems.
  3. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  4. Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
  5. Proficient keyboarding skills.
  6. Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
  7. Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
  8. Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Education and Experience:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Experience with computerized inventory systems required.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  2. Must be able to lift to 40 pounds at times.
  3. Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
