What you’ll do

The Market Development Manager within the Ingram sales team has the primary function of being a trusted advisor to the partner ecosystem. The role helps partners grow their market share with their customers which in turn increases the wallet share with Ingram Micro. They will also be a trusted advisor to help uncover, develop & deliver available services to unlock value and profitability from the best technology & vendors for their solutions.  Also responsible for driving enablement and ensuring the partners are aligned to the right mix of vendor/s solutions for success all around.

Your role will include but not limited to:

  • Grow the Ingram Micro Services business across all services lines. Build the Value Sales plays to brings out to the market and drive sales and enablement plays to key Partners and Vendors. 
  • Support and advise where IM Services solutions can assist  in driving new, unique or profitable technology journey's with their customers without the ' ramp up cost barrier of entry 
  • Understand and advise partners on trends, opportunities, futures, challenges and emerging technologies across the ASG & Services  landscape.
  • Help to understand and build a roadmap for your partners to meet their chosen goals in your area of business, engaging and leveraging Ingram's experts in this field.
  • Understand the Vendor ecosystem and the available options today and in the future. Be vendor agnostic in advising partners on the best options available to meet their / their customers’ requirements.
  • Help partners identify opportunities by leveraging Ingram’s experts in vendor technologies
  • Track the progress of the partners on solution creation, sales and go to market activities. 

What you’ll bring
A positive and creative attitude with a competitive nature. You will have 4-6 years channel sales experience across a number of verticals.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least three years field sales experience or market/business development experience required
