User Experience Design Lead, UX Team, CloudBlue

Ingram Micro is seeking a User Experience Design Lead focused on activating the hyper-growth of our infinite ecosystem of SaaS and IaaS solutions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing a team of product designers to deliver efficient and best and class solutions for the CloudBlue product line.

Responsibilities  

  • Manage a growing and business-critical team
  • Manage a team of designers working on CloudBlue product experiences and solving some of the most complex design problems around today
  • Grow the team to meet business demands and employee development needs
  • Evolve team processes, methodologies and toolset, constantly raising the quality of the work done
  • Inspire, motivate, and lead designers to do the best work of their career
  • Partner closely with the Design System team, consuming  contributing with requirements and feedback 
  • Collaborate with User Experience and CloudBlue leadership to determine design direction
  • Work closely with UX Research, Design System, Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing and senior leadership teams to plan and deliver outstanding experiences to CloudBlue customers

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience managing design teams
  • 5+ years of expertise designing user interfaces for both B2C and B2B products
  • Deep knowledge of the modern designer’s toolset
  • Knowledge of the capabilities and implications of the current state of Web standards (HTML5, CSS3)
  • Deep knowledge of the industry and market trends
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to successfully operate within global, cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, as directed
