Join Ingram Micro Financial Services and help market creative IT finance strategies to secure reseller partners including:  Value Added Resellers, Systems Integrators, Independent Software Vendors, and Managed Service Providers in the technology market who can benefit from innovative ways to solve both their own needs and their customer’s global financial solution requirements. Ingram Micro Financial Services programs bring together the IT solutions and technology finance worlds through the architecture of custom, highly effective deal structures that enable technology resellers to deploy innovation globally while protecting the financial objectives of their customers.

 Business Development Executive will report into the IMFS country business development leader and help grow IT finance program pipeline and sales by supporting, managing or leading the origination and/or closing of sales opportunities . He would be responsible for delivering innovative strategies and consultation with reseller senior management and their sales teams around how Ingram Micro Financial Services capabilities can fundamentally change the depth of interaction they have with their end user customers at the senior management level, while deriving the Working Capital support in executing large complex deals requiring financial structuring. Additionally, he/she would  provide continual training and formalize financial products  to eliminate purchase roadblocks, accelerate sales cycles, and increase overall transaction size for Ingram Micro-reseller partners.

 He/she would have strong communication to be able to support  both domestic and global transactions originating from the assigned customer/partner segments.  Business Acumen, Timeliness in response are key requirements of the job.  

 Required / Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous IT finance sales and related financial industry business development experience with a proven track record of over achieving goals and quotas specific to IT equipment leasing / financing.
  • Record of building a network and relationships at the senior management level, preferably in the IT reseller market and/or territory.
  • Deep understanding of and ability to sell simple though highly complex financial deal structures is required.
  • Networking, sales, and marketing skills
  • Executive level presence and influencing capabilities with client organizations.
  • Strong capabilities to accurately assess deal opportunities to determine quickly both deal and customer potential (qualified vs. unqualified assessment skill set) so as to build a qualified deal opportunity pipeline that optimally maximizes time and resource emphasis focus.
  • Ability to act as a subject matter expert finance sales leader to direct the flow of engagements, including a keen ability to manage accurate and efficient sales pipeline progression.
  • IT lease/finance sales experience of minimum of 10 years
  • Qualification: Graduate with an additional qualification of MBA preferably specialization in Marketing and/or finance
