Responsible for planning and managing programs to meet product delivery, quality assurance checks,  cost and revenue goals. Acting as team leader, coordinates team efforts in to ensure timely delivery of goods and to provide visibility to downstream teams to help inventory planning and support product launch activities.  Ensures revenue growth, thru timely deliveries, freight mode/route/cost optimization and provides support to products team for freight quote for product costing as well as special projects.  Reviews requirements, identifies tasks, assigns and coordinates resources and creates/tracks project schedules. Ensures clear communication and timely resolution of issues. May participate in the development of strategies pertaining to program.





The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing global supply chain for Private Label division within Ingram Micro to ensure products are delivered in timely manner to warehouses around the globe. A strong international trade background is required with superior problem-solving skills. A candidate should be able to read and understand and educate themselves on different evolving requirements for compliance/safety of goods and be able have excellent communication (both verbal and written) to effectively interact with different departments (Product Management, Sales, Import/Export Compliance, Tax) as well as partners such as factories, freight forwarders and warehouse operations teams.


The Supply Chain Manager will:

  • Build strong relationships with our factories / suppliers, ensuring a continuous long-term partnership
  • Oversee all orders and monitor shipment and production schedules to meet target delivery date
  • Evaluate vendor performance to ensure highest quality, and timely deliveries
  • Manage all ocean and airfreight shipments to warehouse locations across the globe
  • Manage and maintain milestone integrity in SAP. Ensure all ETA dates are updated in the system.
  • Take initiative to communicate, improve and inform all internal parties of supply chain challenges as they relate to the flow of goods. IE port congestion, equipment issues, strikes, weather.
  • Inbound freight audit, invoicing and performance metrics
  • Supervise supply chain coordinators and review reports to ensure orders status is regularly up-to-date and spot any potential delays early to mitigate customer issue.
  • Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Work with freight forwards and transportation companies to set best route and rate.
  • Collaborate with product team and hub team to determine best practice for freight in and freight consolidation.
  • Work closely with import and export departments to ensure supplier meets all compliance requirements.




  • Superior analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to dive in and quickly understand root cause and identify scalable solutions
  • Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Ability to thrive in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel



  • Bachelor’s Degree required



  • 3 years functional experience including a minimum 1-year position specific experience
  • Preferred experience in Trade Compliance for a company in the US
  • Knowledge of international trade practices (CFR 19 Customs Duties, Export Administration Regulation, Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Canada Customs Regulations, C-TPAT)
  • Experience working in International Trade and/or Freight Forwarding a plus.
