What you’ll do

The Cyber Sales Manager for the Advanced Solutions will be responsible for ensuring the management of the assigned technology stack to meet the financial performance targets set out by the organization. They will also be responsible for managing a BDM’s and Market Development Managers to ensure value added services are provided to our resellers with the focus on the Advanced Solution Products, that ongoing personal development opportunities are realized, and performance is in line with internal service levels. The Cyber Sales Manager will act as a conduit between our vendor and resellers, and the organization to ensure that we continue to provide relevant products and services to these resellers through actively partnering with our vendors.

As the Cyber Security Sale Manager you will be responsible for growing the business unit and leading the team.  Your role and duties:

  • Responsible for the delivery of assigned Team financial metrics and business KPPI’s
  • Analyse sales statistics and results and recommend strategic & tactical plans for improvement
  • Analyse sales and margin statistics to identify plans for improvement
  • Extensive go to market execution supporting Cyber solutions/companies
  • Compile and distribute weekly & monthly reports to GM
  • Managing, developing and growing their regional customers through:

-            Adequate account management deployment

-            Direct frequent contact with senior customer management

  • Strong knowledge of IT professional and managed services
  • Build, inspire and manage an innovative and agile team of leaders through consistent leadership and frequent communication to the team
  • Identify and develop individual team members to create a high performance culture through coaching and training
  • Support weekly/monthly meetings and/or conference calls for BDM & MDM Teams
  • Provide input into sales forecasts and recommend short and long –term sales goals to achieve and exceed business objectives
  • Responsible for ensuring staff are trained in departmental and Ingram Micro systems processes and policies
  • Maintain Business hygiene throughout the team
  • You will work with cross functional roles such as BDM’s, MDM’s, product management, customer support, and service delivery

What you’ll bring

A strong team ethic with an entrepreneurial drive. We are an ever-evolving driving force in the industry and as such we are seeking a senior incumbent to drive our Cyber Security offerings.

  • A BA or additional relevant experience in a related field (MBA strongly preferred)
  • A minimum of 10 years of IT channel experience; As a service experience preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in sales, alliances, business development, and marketing with strong leadership experience
  • 8+ years of first and second level management experience driving true P&L cost centers 
  • 5+ years of cloud computing/As a service experience preferred
  • Problem-solving skills, conceptual and analytical skills with a proven ability to turn findings into executable plans
  • Excellent oral, written, listening and formal presentation skills including the ability to communicate and sell ideas
  • Demonstrated initiative to work independently and with teams interchangeably.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
