Description

As a Program Management Leader you will be part of our growing GBS Business Transformation organization. The team is focused on delivering strategic transformation and improvement programs for Ingram Micro’s global business. The Program Management Leader will be managing the GBS Program Management team, which is responsible for planning, implementation, and tracking projects. 

As a PM Leader you will establish our Program Management Center of Excellence (CoE) to support both large-and small-scale initiatives within Ingram Micro. You will oversee project managers on process, people and technology initiatives. You'll work closely with Business Transformation Consulting and technical teams, and cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Accounting and Finance, Operations and other business groups. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple complex and strategically essential initiatives in collaboration with the Business Transformation and GBS Operations teams
  • Develop, deploy and oversee the GBS Program Management team to ensure professional delivery and proper governance of global programs and projects
  • Implement a GBS Program Management CoE and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodologies, frameworks and tools across GBS and the global business
  • Define and recommend program/project management strategies to GBS operations leaders and the GBS Senior Leadership Team
  • Drive CoE and tools retrospectives across GBS and the global business to identify gaps and prioritize opportunities


Skills & Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in business or a technical discipline
  • 10+ years of program management experience, with 5+ years developing PMO tools and Center of Excellence (CoE) organization; PMP Certification desired
  • Proficiency in program management, planning and reporting tools
  • Experience managing and leading transformation, transition and harmonization projects across globally dispersed business units and shared service centers
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communicating and collaborating with senior leadership, sales, operations and finance professionals
  • Results-driven and problem-solving orientation to attain objectives while proactively mitigating and removing obstacles
  • Coaching and development of others
