Sr. Analyst, Pricing

Position Summary:

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of pricing strategies to maximize sales and market penetration and ensure long-term profitability objectives are met.
  • Administers projects designed to provide a comprehensive view of the company's competitive pricing position and insight on the impact of pricing changes on profitability and growth rates.
  • Develops and maintains competitive pricing databases designed to monitor changes in the marketplace and their impact on the corporation. Performs analyses on customer price sensitivity and elasticity.
  • Works in conjunction with business development, customer success, and finance functions on setting prices, analyzation of general rate changes, and determine go-to-market pricing on new customer launches
  • Utilize strong knowledge of Excel to assist in pricing calculations and provide pricing analytic support
  • Establish monitoring and updating platform rate enhancements to ensure accuracy in platform automated rating.
  • Manage the complex, large, or difficult analysis projects; evaluate findings, prepare reports, and make recommendations to senior management about the financial and pricing implications of business proposals.
  • Partnering with our Commercial and Legal teams to review business development contracts, evaluate pricing and terms, and provide recommendation to Senior Leadership.
  • Assist with forward-thinking special projects and analyses, as required.


What you bring to the role:

Provides solutions to a variety of complex technical and business matters. Will champion significant projects, programs and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity. Seasoned professional individual contributor.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field required. 
  • 3- 5 years of experience in finance, pricing, and/or a high growth company in a finance or pricing role.
  • Experience working in highly matrixed organization supporting Sales, Operations, Engineering, Product, and Finance.
  • Superior attention to detail – must display highest level of consistency and accuracy in work.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey financial concepts to Senior leadership and business partners.
  • Strong business planning and financial modeling skills including expert proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and significant experience in other data analysis and modeling (e.g. Domo, SQL)
  • Ability to make significant contribution to processes and systems.
