We are seeking a leader for our Global Business Intelligence Demand Generation practice. This is a key leadership role within the Global Business Intelligence Team who will own the Marketing Automation Operations function at a Global level for Ingram Micro.  The position will lead a cross-functional team and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver data driven demand generation programs, drive innovation as a partner and enabler for our global marketers, enable the business through market insights and create an Agile-centric high-performance team.  Additionally, the position will be responsible for managing and maintaining all required data provider relationship and sourcing new data sets which will improve deliverables.  This position is responsible for leading our overarching marketing automation strategy globally.   

 

The Director of Operations will oversee our centers of excellence (currently Irvine, CA, Barcelona, Spain and Chennai, India) and execute across all engines to deliver an excellent product to our stakeholders’ satisfaction. The Demand Generation team brings a diverse set of skillsets, comprised of program managers, analysts, market researchers, SCRUM masters, front end developers, .NET developers, marketing automation experts, outcall and business development associates and UX/UI designers and research experts.  

 

Your role:

 

  • Leverage BI Demand Generation Programs, Market Research and Analytics to generate Marketing Qualified Leads and incremental profit to the organization.
  • Lead a global team to operationalize and implement an execution engine for new products and services for Ingram Micro countries and BUs to create long-term success by enabling scaled, repeatable models, solutions and programs for growth.
  • Own and scale marketing technology infrastructure (Eloqua) with global marketing stakeholders to meet the needs of internal marketers.
  • Own data maintenance, keeping the data clean on an ongoing basis, while maintaining marketing database health and compliance in accordance with OMNI channel deliverability requirements and global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CASL, CCPA, etc).
  • Leverage market intelligence, analytics, and segmentation to identify target accounts and develop audience personas.
  • Drive continuous improvement, improved productivity, and SLA’s by tuning workflows and seeking efficiencies.
  • Establish and track demand generation metrics, generating reports and dashboards to monitor and communicate results.
  • Drive development, implementation, and evolution of consistent marketing processes and related infrastructure to enable efficiencies, improve operating rhythms, and increase speed to market for marketing campaigns including setup, execution, measurement, and optimization of demand generation efforts.
  • Liaise across marketing, data analytics, sales operations and customer operations teams to design and create the most efficient and scalable insights, processes and automations to accelerate execution across the buyer's journey

 

What you bring to the role:

 

  • 15+ years professional and managerial experience. A background in Marketing Operations and experience in different areas of the business are also highly valued (e.g., operations, product management, and sales).
  • Experience with lifecycle marketing, funnel lead generation, metrics for campaigns, lead scoring, A/B testing and campaign optimization desired.
  • Strong proficiency working in marketing automation platforms and marketing tools.
  • A working knowledge of data analytics, data pipelines, stored procedures and some familiarity with SQL will be necessary to lead this data-centric team.
  • Knowledge and experience working in an Agile-centric environment and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in cross-functional leadership, comfort with complexity and ambiguity in a fluid environment.
  • Detail oriented, with ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills within a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and relationship management skills, with all levels of staff, management, and external partners.
  • Undergraduate/BA degree required
