 What you’ll do

Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of Key Account Managers and/or Key Account Support associates. You will be specifically targeted with managing your teams to drive an increase in revenue and margin, within a group of accounts within the commercial space. You will work closely with the internal and external sales team to manage these accounts and ensure engagement and customer outcomes are delivered by their team.

Responsibilities include;-

Sales Management

  • Development of weekly call cycles and plans for each associate within the team
  • Analysing and utilizing data from sales reporting tools to drive further customer engagement
  • Developing and executing plans to grow revenue and margin within assigned accounts
  • Monitoring of performance against revenue and margin targets in conjunction with Sales Manager
Team Management
  • Training and coaching of team members to ensure that targets and goals can be achieved, along with ensuring that the team is equipped with relevant Project Management skills
  • Recruitment of associates
  • Performance monitoring of team
  • Setting of KPI’s and managing associates against these KPI’s
  • Managing communication and work processes for the team to ensure high levels of productivity and effectiveness

 What you’ll bring

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 2years experience managing a team of outbound and/or inbound professionals, proficient in articulating to and utilizing all stakeholder capabilities. Previous experience in developing call/territory plans and managing a team against this.

  • At least 4 years experience in an Internal Sales or telemarketing preferably within the IT industry
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Previous experience in developing call/territory plans and managing a team against this
  • Strong reporting and analysis skills
  • Previous exposure to a complex ERP
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
