 Business Unit Manager

What is DC/POS

The Data Capture and Point of Sale, (DC/POS) team is part of a worldwide DC/POS division that distributes technology and products such as barcode scanning and printing, hand held mobile computing, radio frequency identification devices as well as professional services and software that enable these devices. We have 35 vendors in this division that include companies such as Datalogic, Epson, Elo Touch, Honeywell and Zebra Technologies.

What responsibilities will you have?


  • Coordinating, supervising and being accountable for the activities of our DC/POS team (3 members)
  • Providing leadership, direction, guidance and coaching to the team members to ensure productivity and the achievement of quarterly sales and profit objectives
  • Developing and operationalising  strategies to grow the business
  • Channel development; expansion into new and emerging verticals, as well as identifying and leveraging cross sell opportunities from within the company
  • Managing sales to ensure delivery of key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new sale opportunities, as well as the development of existing accounts
  • Aligning our key vendor partner business objectives with our own, by developing joint Go To Market plans and marketing initiatives.
  • Being responsible for the development of our portfolio of products, services and solutions.
  • Identifying and resolving any partner issues in collaboration with our internal teams and vendor partners
  • Facilitating and driving relationships between the vendor and re-seller to strengthen our position as the distributor of choice.
  • Responsibility for the achievement of sales plans


Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an
experienced team-leader who has the ability and motivation to continue building up a channel, bringing on new customers and driving growth. You will enjoy working with us if you have proven experience in channel sales, people management (leading and mentoring a small team) with “Can Do Attitude” and ability to be a self-starter. If you have quantifiably results in business development in the field of data capture and POS as well as a strong competency in building a value proposition and positioning strong proposals. A patient and calm demeanor, together with the ability to work precisely are key factors to succeed in this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hungarian and English are mandatory. We value good collaboration skills and the ability to solve challenges effectively!


Who will be your leader? What do you have to know about your future team?

Your leader will be Márk Fenyvesi - who is the head of the Value business unit - whose character can be briefly described as: extremely experienced, professionally knowledgeable, supportive and calm; it is important for him to continuously expand the knowledge of the team and to support their career path.

Our DC/POS team currently consists of 3 people, we could briefly describe them as: IT market leader, motivating, inspiring team, where the key to success is to support each other and share their knowledge; you can expect fun and challenging days with them!


How will the selection process look like?
