The Senior Solution Architect is a seasoned professional individual contributor that works independently with limited supervision and knowledgeable in their chosen discipline (networking, infrastructure, wireless, authentication, security). The incumbent will provide exceptional training and assist with design and implementation support to the lab environment as well as solution services being offered to clients and partners of Cloud Harmonics. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Professional Services 30%

Provide design and implementation support to clients and customers of Cloud Harmonics.

Be available for remote and/or onsite work where required to best suit the needs of the company. 

Expert Level Training 30%

Delivery of exceptional training on a weekly basis. Effectively communicates product/vendor capabilities 
Tests and maintains existing lab environment. 

Pre-sales / Sales Engineering 30%

Provides vendor solutions to customer inquiries targeting specific technology requirements. Facilitates conversations with customers to provide the best solutions.  

Courseware and Lab Environment Development 10%

Takes complex ideas and transcribes them into a clear, concise message to support the customer’s Product understanding. Builds lab environments to support courseware development and enhance the customer’s experience.  

Decision Making Authority Level 

  • Proposal of New Technologies for future classes
  • Adjusting timelines based on current build out plans
  • Suggestion of supplemental training for junior staff
  • Lab buildouts
  • Timeline for new classes
  • New technologies for future classes and products for potential distribution

 Example decisions that depend on position’s advice:

  • We need to offer “Class X” next month, is this doable?  What resources do you need and how much time will it take?
  • This vendor has approached us to offer training and services, is this a fit for our organizational strategy?
  • This potential client desires product “x” installed. Is this something within our capabilities ?
  • Possess a strong technical skill set acquired through advanced training, study and experience
  • Four-year college degree preferred (or additional relevant experience in a related field) or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years functional experience in networking and/or security industry including a minimum of 5 years position-specific experience in technical training, pre-sales support, or professional services. 
  • Minimum of 2 professional certifications from 2 supported vendors.
  • Specialist in technical or business skills to allow for significant contribution to processes and systems.  Individuals with a customer focus have developed the acumen to cultivate and develop lasting customer relations.
