Position Summary:
  • Performs a variety of HR activities.
  • Partners with, and builds strong relationships with, leaders and key decision makers in relevant functions/divisions to optimize business success through HR initiatives.
  • Takes a holistic approach to analyze HR issues, resolve problems and propose solutions.
  • May investigate, mediate, and resolve employee and labor relations issues. May provide coaching and counsel to business leaders, managers and employees.
  • Brings best practice and external perspectives to strategic and operational business discussions and people management decision-making. Applies general understanding of all areas of human resource programs and policies. 
  • Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends.
  • Develops, implements and ensures the ongoing effectiveness of all internal processes and systems; develops and executes an efficient infrastructure that can deliver HR services consistently, responsively and cost effectively.
  • Ensures efficiency and accuracy of HR processes and transactions.
The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Kronos/WFD entries and edits by EOD each day.
  • Audit Payroll each week
  • Monitor call-in log, return associate calls, enter time in Kronos and communicate with leaders. Report any Covid cases to Covid Testing Coordinator
  • Audit Payroll each week.
  • NCNS audit for Kronos
  • Attendance Program administration and point removals
  • Kronos Reporting: Tardies, Zero Hours, Missing punches and Meal Period Violations 
  • Communicate with leaders regarding payroll/timekeeping matters
  • Answer payroll and other general HR-related questions from associates
  • Research and resolve payroll issues
  • Liaison with payroll team
  • Onboard temporary associate timekeeping profiles
  • Enter schedules for temporary associates
  • Gather necessary documents and paperwork for employee corrective actions.
  • Maintain personnel files
What you bring to the role:
  • Established and productive individual contributor.
  • Works under moderate supervision.
  • Problems faced are typically routine, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
  • Makes minor adjustments to working methods.
  • Communicates information that requires explanation or interpretation.
  • Provides administrative or technical support at an intermediate level.
  • Still gaining or have attained full proficiency in their specific area of discipline.
  • Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
  • May seek the advice of senior personnel in the functional area.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, 2 year degree preferred.
  • 3 years of general experience or 2 years functional experience.
  • 2 years of Kronos experience (Workforce Dimensions preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Workday
  • Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
