What you’ll do

As Business Manager Enterprise Software,
you will be responsible for managing the strategic direction of the Software Business unit within Ingram Micro.  Your role will include but not limited to:


  • Management of vendor relationships
  • Growing and maintaining key customer relationships at executive level
  • Development a strategic plan for the Software portfolios that align with growth objectives
  • Management of the vendor management team
  • Driving cadence which includes operational, marketing and sales planning and results
  • Driving innovative marketing via thought leadership
  • Targeted marketing of specific assigned Vendors, Resellers & Products.
  • Providing relevant training for assigned technologies.
  • Inventory management of aligned Products.
  • Provide accurate & detailed pipeline and forecasting reports.
  • Creating & nurturing strategic relationships with both customers & vendors.
  • Developing strategic programs to drive partner and product segments through the channel


What you’ll bring


Someone who can drive Ingram Micro’s value proposition and further cement our position of Market Leaders within the enterprise software space.

To be successful you will ideally have:

  • 10 years + experience in commercial or sales role with at least 2 to 3 years in data centre or cloud computing.
  • Strong track record of hitting sales targets and maximising rebate attainment.
  • Proven ability to disrupt markets and grow market share.
  • Demonstrated ability drive innovative and effective marketing and commercial strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of local market needs, trends and technologies.
  • Proven experience developing core business along with introducing value-add solutions.
  • The ability to meet strict deadlines & work autonomously.
  • A can-do attitude along with commercial acumen
  • Strong Excel and data analytic skills
  • Experience managing enterprise hardware portfolios from a distribution perspective, or experience working in a sales or commercial capacity at a enterprise software or hardware vendor is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels.
