The Manager for Talent Acquisition is accountable for overall leadership initiatives which includes development of metrics/ KPIs, recruitment operations, strategic sourcing, market mapping, and team management.  The role is responsible for strategic partnership with stakeholders, ensuring delivery excellence and relationship-building.  The position is responsible for ensuring talent processes comply with appropriate business controls as well as be a point of contact for escalations. Coaching, mentoring and development of team members are also needed for the success of this role.

Further, the role will be primarily tasked to lead the Global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence with focus on strategic sourcing of global talent across varied professions such as Sales & Marketing, Customer & Technical Support, Finance & Accounting, Information Technology, Supply Chain & Logistics as well as other non-technical functions. The position will partner closely with global/regional Talent Acquisition Partners and key stakeholders to ensure correct profiling of talents, skills, experience as well as strategic alignment on where to effectively source these talents globally. The role will also leverage on Hire Great (talent selection) methodology and ensure innovative ways on how to attract talent and leverage on Ingram Micro’s Candidate Value Proposition to ensure that talent needs are met during the hiring process.

The Manager for Talent Acquisition is the key contact for the team’s metrics, leveraging on global talent acquisition tools. The role takes charge on tracking and reporting of sourcing results and campaigns management through our Applicant Tracking System (Jobvite) as well as our Candidate Relationship Management tool (Talemetry). The position is also tasked with providing recommendations on opportunities for improvement in the sourcing and recruitment process.

Moreover, the role acts as the initial point of escalation and resolution for all staffing related issues for the Global Sourcing COE Team. In addition, he/she conducts recruitment process orientation for all new recruitment specialists and associates and can be designated by the Sr. Manager for Talent Acquisition to take on a lead role for specific recruitment programs/ projects. The Manager for Talent Acquisition may also respond to HR related queries as part of the greater Human Resource Team.

  • Administrative Work (File Maintenance and Monitoring of Applicant Tracking System and Candidate Relationship Management System)

 Qualifications: 

  • Requires a four year college degree and relevant experience in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years functional experience including a minimum of 4 years of position specific experience and 3 years of supervisory experience or 4 years of leadership experience.
  • Must be experienced in Technical Talent Sourcing across US, Canada and APAC
