Ideal Candidate Profile:
A professional with a strong desire to partner with internal and external customers, focused on supplier negotiations, supplier performance (metrics) and supplier diversity. The new hire will be mentored by senior leadership and will have the ability to work with every department within our company. The Ideal candidate will feel comfortable negotiating contracts and prices while educating customers on our strategic souring departmental guidelines.


Location:

We offer a hyrbid working environment, the employee has the flexibility to split their week between working remote and in our corporate headquarters in Irvine, CA. 

Position Summary:

  • Partner with key business stakeholders to support the needs of the business.
  • Develop solutions and deliver on priorities for the assigned scope. Maintain metrics for sourcing scope and identify new areas of opportunity to deliver or exceed targets
  • Implement Indirect Sourcing strategy.
  • Support and or Lead full Request for Proposal & Bidding process including spend analysis, RFI, RFQ, quotes analysis, pricing, and contract & statement of work negotiations and execution.
  • Support the department’s efforts in achieving set annual objectives and goals.
  • Develop solutions and deliver on priorities for the designated scope. Maintain metrics for sourcing scope and identify new areas of opportunity to deliver or exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting RFx (Request for Proposal/Quote) supplier evaluation and selection process.
  • Providing research, analysis, and operational support to Indirect Strategic Sourcing category managers.
  • Running and/ or developing spend reports and dashboards.
  • Support efforts to implement a supplier diversity program in our indirect sourcing organization.
  • Supporting and help build our Supplier Performance Management program.
  • Provide other adhoc duties as assigned by manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent college graduate
  • Demonstrates technical competence to grasp new concepts and applications quickly
  • Ability to work independently with strong mentorship
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient within Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Driven and motivated individual who is eager to learn
