WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE UNIQUE?

  • Serving as the primary liaison for technical accounting matters with internal and external and auditors.

As the Technical Accounting Manager you will be responsible for researching technical accounting matters and drafting related position papers, communicating complex accounting issues to senior management and other key stakeholders, analyzing the impact of new accounting standard updates relevant to the Company, and liaising with external auditors.  You will also assist in the review of the Company’s annual and interim financial reports.  

YOUR ROLE:

  • Performing analysis and technical accounting research related to revenue recognition, channel financing arrangements, debt offerings, acquisitions, divestitures, valuations, and other non-routine transactions that may arise.
  • Assisting in the drafting and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures and partnering with stakeholders to operationalize accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with US GAAP and other international accounting standards.
  • Presenting complex accounting matters, relevant communications, and analyses to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Analyzing the impact of new accounting standard updates on the Company and assessing broader implications for the business.
  • Implementing and providing training to accounting teams globally pertaining to the adoption of and compliance with new accounting standards and ensure proper disclosure in Company quarterly and annual filings.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Facilitating technical accounting knowledge sharing and transfer across the organization.
  • Serving as the primary liaison for technical accounting matters with internal and external and auditors.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA required
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory
  • A minimum of 4 years of technical accounting experience,
  • Big 4 experience required 
  • OneStream and SAP experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to research complex issues
  • Ability to act and operate independently
