We are now looking for a Trellix Cyber Security Consultant to join our Western European Center of Excellence (CoE), team in Milton Keynes or Utrecht.

About the job of Microsoft Security Consultant

  • Become an ambassador and SME for Trellix (XDR) offerings
  • Empower both channel partners and Ingram Micro product teams with extensive Trellix knowledge
  • Perform security assessments and effectively present and consult with the findings
  • Deliver successful technical demonstrations, training, PoCs/PoVs and webinars for relevant Trellix XDR solutions
  • Provide coaching and professional education to the internal sales team and channel partners
  • Collaborate with Sales Associates to up-sell with added value

In this job of Cyber Security Consultant, you report directly into our Cyber Security Director, Brian Verburg, in the visibility and revenue growth.

Experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred Experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience in technical presales and/or technical consulting roles preferred.
  • Proven track record working with and advisory on EDR, MDR and XDR technology
  • Experience with McAfee MVISION EDR/XDR, FireEye Helix

Desirable Qualifications

  • FireEye and/or McAfee M-HERO certified.
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
  • CEH, OSCP, CISSP, CCSP certified is a plus.

  • Demonstrable experience in a technical consulting type role
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on translating technically complex security issues into simple, easy to understand concepts for business and technical leadership.

  • Able to operate independently or as part of a larger team
  • Able to network with industry peers and customers
  • A flexible approach to work and prepared 'go the extra mile' to exceed customer expectations

  • Technical, hands-on cybersecurity knowledge and experience
