Solution Architect

Here at Ingram Micro New Zealand (IMNZ) we are currently seeking an experienced Solution Architect, capable of designing quality solutions. This exciting and creative role will require you to deal closely with our Vendor partners and their customers to design the perfect IT solutions to meet business needs.

To achieve this you will be working alongside a dedicated IMNZ team, providing technical knowledge, ongoing product training, enablement and insights, into the components of your designated product based Vendor portfolio.

Based  on the North Shore, this is an integral position to ensure that Vendor partnerships are managed profitably for IMNZ, targeting competitive recruitment, enrollment and training of new partners as well as the re-activation of dormant partners. 

 Key responsibilities include:

• Technical support
• Product training and competency enablement
• Training and leadership around sales activities
• Providing re-sellers with solution designs for their sales activities
• Supporting and promoting the company’s marketing effort
• Promotion and engagement with Vendors

To succeed in this role, you will :

• Have a minimum 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Current technical certification/qualifications or the proven ability to learn and get up to speed quickly
• Existing knowledge of virtualization products would be beneficial
• Strong knowledge of the local market and of technologies relevant to the roles
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Sales experience and good business acumen
