This position is responsible for maintaining the Information Security risk register, tracking compliance tasks within the Information Technology team and business to ensure issues are remediated according to plan, and managing the risk exception process.The ideal candidate is an effective project manager, perhaps with a project management background. In addition, an ideal candidate would have a cybersecurity background and experience.Job Qualifications and Educational RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have one or more of the following skills and/or qualifications:Cybersecurity risk management experienceExperience managing a risk registerExperience managing the risk exception processExperience creating remediation plans for cyber risksExperience creating presentations for all types of audiencesAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsTechnical writing experienceInternal audit experience with ITGCsExperience developing and maintaining an Information Security PolicyEducation4 Year College Degree in a related field (Computer Science, Business Management, Finance, Engineering, etc.) requiredExperience3+ years of relevant work experience in information security, risk management, internal audit, technical writing, or information security governanceTraining from SANS, a CISSP or CISM Certification, PMP Certification, or EnCE Certification
