IS/IT Manager

 

About the role

The IS/IT Manager will take responsibility for supporting and delivering technology/ business platforms to meet our business strategy. As a growing organisation, Comms-care is continually evolving our business systems to be at the forefront of technology. You will be responsible for supporting our existing systems as well as instrumental in managing the rollout and integration of future solutions. The successful individual will need to be well organised and able to understand and prioritise the varying demands from teams across Comms-care and our parent, Ingram Micro.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Support, maintain and improve the internal IT and business platforms
  • Work with business unit leaders and the wider organisation to capture needs and wants for platforms, data and applications
  • Reporting to the business on capacity and performance of our platforms
  • Lead projects to deliver new systems and add new functionality to existing systems
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on matters of IT, security, business continuity and data protection
  • Act is the interface point between Comms-care and the Ingram Micro global systems and security teams
  • Manage interaction with 3rd party software vendors

 

What we are looking for

  • Technical understanding of IT systems and solutions
  • A successful track record of leading IT teams and delivering IT solution projects
  • Direct input into supporting and maintaining an ISO certifications
  • Experience of working within an IT services organisation

Other skills that will help you in the role

  • Experience implementing and managing Service Management Applications (ITSM/ PSA)
  • Knowledge of SQL, Business Intelligence and/or data reporting solutions
  • Technical IT Certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco)
  • Proficient in English (Spoken and Written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
