In regard to this role, the demand for transformation and automation is high right now at Ingram Micro, as our USIT Project Management Organization is managing roughly 20 projects/products. That number will be on the rise as we get into 2023.
These strategic projects involve substantial work and coordination with many different groups within the organization to complete:
The Projects we work on are always for internal purposes, but most also involve working with resellers or vendors as well.
Some of our current projects include:
- integration projects (ex. taking an ERP and moving it into another business unit),
- projects supporting acquisitions
- creating a new Ingram entity (Mobility/CEVA & Cloud Logic / Public Sector new Entity)
- projects to build a marketing data warehouse
- projects to make the reseller and vendor experience better with automation related to our quotes and warranty business
Experience with the following is not required but highly preferred:
- Agile Methodology
- SAFe Scaled agile framework
- PMP certification
- Distribution / Channel industry experience
Must have experience with:
- IT Project Management
- Budgets
- Resources
- Scheduling
- Finances
Four year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field). Minimum 5 years functional experience including a minimum of 3 years specific experience.
Ability to make significant contribution to processes and systems.
