Ingram Micro is the largest Indirect cloud provider globally and is looking for an experienced cloud growth practice lead for cyber security within the newly developed cloud growth practice development team.

If you are excited about building out a global cyber security practice where you will be leveraging cloud solutions from our strategic vendors to secure critical infrastructure, devices, and identities around the globe. The goal is to form a global strategy for SMBs and Enterprises, using best-in-breed technologies from leading cloud vendors such as Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, and others. Focusing on driving new business opportunities, accelerating the customer shift to the cloud, and driving future growth with complementary solutions and tactics.

As a Cloud Growth Practice Leader for Cyber Security within Ingram Micro Cloud, you will be part of the broader Cloud Growth Practice team and will oversee the cyber security practice on a global scale and work closely with the other practice leaders and their respective cloud growth areas (e.g., anywhere work, cloud migrations, modern apps & processes, data & insights, and ecosystem expansion).

Responsibilities include driving the cyber security practice strategy and development for cloud and working on prioritizing solutions and offerings tailored to customer needs, lead capturing, ensuring executive buy-in and working with our local G10 markets to execute and deliver on our business goals, and driving profitable net new growth for Ingram Micro. A key part of the role includes collaborating and coordinating with internal teams such as marketing, vendor management, and our Center of Excellence on our services to drive service and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines solution-selling and practice development with a proven record of new market development in the security space. The candidate must have a strategic focus to drive large initiatives as well as comprehensive go-to-market plans with the right mechanisms that drive results across a broad set of geographies and convey compelling value propositions around cyber security.

Roles & Responsibilities

On a global basis lead and develop the growth practice for cyber security within Ingram Micro at a global scale including solutions, go-to-market, and business development activities.

  • Lead the cyber security cloud practice for Ingram Micro and be the subject matter
  • Set and manage targets and work with the Channel Sales organizations to achieve/ exceed goals
  • Apply the 80/20 rule. 80% of the practice is focused on today’s growth and 20% is focused on the future (e.g., new innovative solutions/ vendors)
  • Be able to develop from the comprehensive technology platforms tangible GTM solutions for our various client groups (SMB and Enterprise)
  • Manage day-to-day activities and oversee all aspects of your growth practice with regular, coordinated interaction with the sales field teams of our G10 countries
  • Work and engage with key stakeholders within the broader global teams (e.g., vendor management, marketing, and our Center of Excellence on service delivery)
  • Leverage vendor resources to stay up to date on all the vendor programs to support with funding, tools, and programs to accelerate your growth practice
  • Work with reporting and BI teams to put in place governance and tracking processes to ensure visibility of progress on the growth practice
  • Co-ordinate and drive a performance management cadence to ensure action plans are in place to deliver on growth targets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of proven sales, product, or business development experience in the software/technology industry and brings a unique balance of public cloud platform expertise on a commercial and product/ technical level
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with channel partners and cloud vendors
  • Experience developing comprehensive go-to-market plans with F100 companies and executing across international markets
  • Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts to business outcomes
  • Experience working with cloud security products and services
  • Strong business and commercial acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving, growing, and managing products and solutions within vendor portfolios
  • Ability to think and work creatively to develop unique joint value propositions
  • Effectively build strategic working relationships and develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals
  • Strong sense of ownership in work
  • Excellent analytical, and business development skills to balance strategic thinking and execution of tactical activities including the ability to crisply communicate and present at an executive level
  • Ability to travel internationally may be required
