Sales Specialist Apprenticeship


We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Specialist Apprentice to join our Core Sales team on a 15-month programme based in Milton Keynes. This role is suited for those keen to learn all aspects of Sales cycle.

Your role will be to provide administrative and coordination support to this busy sales team. You will support the sales team in their customer engagements, coordinate bid responses, coordinate and manage reporting information and be responsible for a busy workload of sales support activity. This is an incredible opportunity to develop a career in sales while still learning. Push your own boundaries, surprise yourself on just what you can achieve and after 15 months have a level 3 IT technical sales qualification.


The Sales Specialist apprenticeships programme will teach you how to qualify leads, make cold calls, negotiate, and close deals and provide you with a strong understanding of the Ingram Micro and IT industry - everything you need to hit the ground running.

Location: Based in Milton Keynes


  • Work on the full sales cycle, supported at all times by relevant mentors and dedicated internal resources
  • Work on sales campaigns to increase market share, raising awareness of the Ingram Micro brand and technology
  • Generate new sales pipeline and support on opportunities
  • Attending face to face meetings with potential clients
  • Undergo full assessments and analysis of client needs
  • Competently and knowledgably advise clients on our full range of portfolio solutions and services that best fulfil their requirements
  • Negotiate pricing with clients to achieve sales in line with pricing policies and client requirements
  • Accurate forecasting of anticipated sales, along with regular activity reporting
  • Ensuring that sales and KPI targets are achieved
  • Help achieving personal and career advancement goals in line with Ingram Micro’s Academy Development Programme

Training to be provided
