We have an incredible opportunity for a Sales Specialist Apprentice to join our Core Sales team on a 15-month programme based in Milton Keynes.

This role is ideal for someone who is keen to learn all aspects of the sales cycle and desires to provide high quality coordination and administrative support to a busy sales team. With this opportunity you will push your own boundaries, surprise yourself on just what you can achieve and after 15 months you’ll have a Level 3 IT Technical Sales Qualification and the foundations to start your career at Ingram Micro UK.

This exciting role is to proactively promote an incredible range of products and services into our existing customer base.

You will receive comprehensive training around the products and technologies to enable you to become a trusted advisor to our customers

The Sales Specialist Apprenticeships programme will teach you how to qualify leads, make constructive sales cold calls, negotiate, and close deals and provide you with a strong understanding of Ingram Micro and the Technology industry - everything you need to hit the ground running.
 

Here's some of what you will be doing:

 
Responsibilities

• Work on the full sales cycle, always supported by relevant mentors and dedicated internal resources
• Provide information on product and service offerings by the vendor
• Become a Trusted Advisor for both internal and external customers
• Provide availability, discontinuation & special offers
• Provide pricing and quotations to customers
• Follow up on sales leads and opportunities
• Provide regular sales forecasts and business updates to the Vendor and Business Manager
• Accurately manage, nurture and monitor deal progress
• Maintain and improve product & market knowledge within Ingram Micro sales force
• Training initiatives to increase knowledge and skills.
• Support sales focus days at Ingram Micro and at customers where necessary
• Working on sales campaigns to increase market share, raising awareness of the Ingram Micro brand and technology
• Help Achieving personal and career advancement goals in line with Ingram Micro’s Academy Development Programme 

To be considered as a Sales Associate Apprentice you will need:

• Able to take constructive criticism and to correct mistakes

Desired qualifications

• At least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including maths, English and either IT or Science

Training to be provided
