Global Business Intelligence Marketing Automation Enablement

 

Position Summary

 

The GBI, Marketing Automation Enablement Advisor is a critical team member within our growing Global Business Intelligence organization. Our team is highly specialized in digital marketing, data visualization and data sciences that can yield valuable market insights and craft effective strategies to capitalize on market opportunities at the right time. The right candidate will complement the team by bringing a versatile skill set, using innovative tactics and strategies to increase effectiveness of all digital marketing initiatives.

 

The GBI, Marketing Automation Enablement Advisor will lead and establish end-to-end program operations process and guide the implementation and execution of Global BI and Global Marketing Programs working with our offshore teams as well as our Program Management Team. The GBI, Marketing Automation Enablement Advisor will lead the offshore team(s) in the development of qualitative and quantitative measures.  The GBI, Marketing Automation Enablement Advisor will architect new offerings and contribute to continuous business transformational efforts. Drawing upon deep subject matter expertise in the areas of data, copywriting, creative, marketing automation, sales, social and digital marketing to help shape Ingram Micro’s Global BI overarching strategy and go-to-market offerings. The GBI, Marketing Automation Enablement Advisor may oversee both internal offshore teams and own third-party vendor relationships, driving procedural and operational functions of data driven programs offered through the Ingram Micro business intelligence center. This includes existing programs and will expand as new services are introduced. This position is responsible for the mapping and creation of BI solutions; research and analysis; define targets; establishing metrics; recommending solution design and feasibility; and effecting change to ensure ongoing process improvement and refinement of assigned programs/services. May lead moderate-sized projects and business process improvement efforts to introduce or improve programs or new components of existing programs. 

 Major Responsibilities, Supporting Actions & End-Results

Enabling marketing automation initiatives including creating workflows for new automation solutions, workflow management from Global BI Team to cross functional teams for execution.  Should include skill mapping, cross functional collaboration, and processes for building high impact teams.  Act as the main intermediary between for the offshore team(s) or 3rd party vendors:

 

  • Experience leading change transformations and/or operations projects
  • Understand the principles of change management, performance metrics and dialogs
  • Highly skilled problem-solving abilities (conceptual, analytical)
  • Passion for coaching and mentoring; strong people skills and ability to engage all levels of the organization

 

Supporting Actions: Demonstrate measurable progress around three key areas: 1) Program Execution 2) Quality and Assurance 3) Research and Development

 

Major Responsibility: Program Organization and Execution: Drive innovation, process improvement and automation across multiple functional teams.

 

Lead strategic projects that support Global BI strategy and the Global Execution Model (integrating other team’s emails into Eloqua (onboarding) for greater efficiency). Drive automation and program innovations

 Effectively listen, communicate, recommend, and present programmatic solutions to internal and external clients. This includes over the phone and in-person presentations with PowerPoint and other media sources. 

Lead presentation with upper-level executives.  Vice President or above. 

What you bring to the role: 

Job Qualifications and Educational Requirements 

  • BA degree with at least 10 years of marketing experience or MS degree with at least five years of experience:  
  • Minimum 5 yrs. experience in using marketing automation platform(s)/graphic design/lead generation/project management related to marketing or at least 5 yrs strong related marketing/Ingram Micro experience.  
  • He or she needs to have experience applying problem-solving and experience based judgment to complex challenges by focusing on the critical issues and constraints that affect business performance.
  • Demonstrate leadership, a sharp analytical mind, creativity, and the ability to work with people across all levels in an organization to make them successful. 
  • Define programmatic issues and identify how those issues link to overall business strategy issues
  • Synthesize findings, develop recommendations and communicate effectively to all levels of the business. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills that enable personal impact with senior-level decision makers
