About the team:
The National Solution Providers (NSP) space within Ingram Micro has responsibilities for some of Ingram Micro’s largest accounts/clients. We implement a ONE Ingram methodology. We embrace and enable digital transformation internal, and with our channel partners and vendors, by utilizing Ingram Micro’s full portfolio offerings around solutions such as: advanced technologies, end-point and systems solutions, cloud, security, and services.
This Role involves:
Account management, strategic planning & execution, sales cycle management, team leadership, business development, national marketing campaign understanding, process improvements, training & enablement, competitive analysis, operational/post sales understanding, consultative sales, communications with all levels of contacts within account/client and vendor contacts, corporate sales negotiations, multitask and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ability to hit target goals and quotas.
Key Qualifications:
- Large account management experience within the channel, or similar vendor management experience supporting channel partners.
- Distribution understanding and/or experience is a plus.
- The role will focus on advanced technology vendor lines, but more specifically will target the security category.
Four year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field). Minimum 8 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years position specific experience. *This is not a complete listing of the job duties.
