Your Role

We are seeking a superstar Product Manager for MSI – Micro-Star International. MSI is a leading brand in High-end Gaming, with an extensive product range of PC Hardware

Your responsibilities

Join our innovative, passionate and dedicated team, in the next step of your career by representing high-profile vendor within the Modern Devices Group at Ingram Micro NZ. Driving growth activities with your vendor, you will showcase your product marketing expertise and demonstrate a strong understanding of key profitability drivers within a distribution context.

• Develop marketing plans and collaborate with marketing communications to develop product positioning, messaging and target segments
• Planning of launches of net-new products and releases of existing products
• Support our sales channels through training and development of internal tools and external collateral
• Building and maintaining of strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Achievement of financial goals (including Revenue, Margin and rebates)
• Basic Project Management (Inc coordination of jobs with our DC Team)
• Understand and provide market intelligence across the competitive landscape

What we are looking for in our Product Manager

• Passion, energy and creativity
• Proven experience and success in Product Management/Marketing preferably in the IT industry
• Demonstrates sound marketing strategies to optimize growth and profitability of vendor product ranges
• Superior attention to detail and strong planning and execution of agreed plans
• Strength with Microsoft Excel and understanding of key financial metrics, particularly margin optimization
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
• Thrive in a team environment, be a strong team player and enjoy working towards a common goal
