This position plays a critical role with the administration of environmental programs across Canada and will be working closely with both internal associates and external programs to administer environmental programs.  They will be expected to maintain and enhance financial controls as the business evolves.  The candidate will also be responsible for GL reconciliations and financial reporting of other operational and accounting related areas, this involves providing timely submission and reporting monthly based on Ingram Micro’s Corporate guidelines.  


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Play active role in Environmental program administration
  • Coordinate activities between Customer Service and A/R on specific environmental transactions
  • Perform Ad hoc analysis for all areas of responsibility
  • Prepares balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly that comply with Ingram Micro Corporate policy
  • Prepares manual/one-time journal entries
  • Ensures compliance to both external and internal auditors, 
  • Prepares ad-hoc reporting and analysis
  • Variance analysis on operational aspects of the business in a timely manner.
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to enhance and develop financial controls
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner while developing solutions

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, CPA candidate


  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or related field
  • Intermediate systems knowledge
  • Ability to work independently at the same time in a team dynamic
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
  • Strong reconciliation and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Access
  • SAP experience is an asset
  • Hyperion Financial Modelling is an asset
  • Working in environment with multiple ERP systems is also an asset 
  • Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of current industry practices when solving business problems
