POSITION SUMMARY:

To provide general accounting and ensure appropriate controls over the ITAD and RL channels for Ingram Micro Services. 

Responsibilities include full accounting ownership of the P&L and balance sheet for the ITAD and RL business. The role performs the duties listed below and provides financial and accounting guidance.

ITAD/RL is a growing business and this role requires focus on all commercial/financial matters to support the business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for general accounting for ITAD/RL business
• Assists with monthly, quarterly and year end close including journal entries, accruals, reporting, and variance analysis
• Prepare assigned balance sheet account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness (including follow-up of open items for resolution in the following month for all accounts)
• Prepare weekly ITAD/RL dashboard for management
• Provides management with meaningful, accurate and timely financial information and reports as requested
• Identifies and implements innovative processes to enhance the timeliness and accuracy of the monthly ledger closing process
• Establish relationships and collaborates with Shared Service Centers, Sales/Account Management, Tax, Operations, and Credit and Collection teams
• Assist with special ad hoc projects as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a corporate accounting/finance environment
• CPA/MBA preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to make significant contribution to processes and systems
• Advanced skills on Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proficient knowledge of financial software applications
• Ability to relate and communicate with all levels of staff and management

• A high level of accuracy and great attention to detail

• Ability to organize and execute multiple tasks at once as defined or directed by management
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
