AP Specialist with English (Cloud)

Description

The AP Specialist position is a role responsible for entering high volume of documents into the ERP system, reviewing and checking documents, including some basic calculations. This position is responsible for editing with close attention to detail and making sure the documents are correctly entered into the system.

As an AP specialist (Cloud) your responsibilities will be:

• Indexing all incoming AP taxable documents
• Matching invoices with open and related receipts in ERP system
• Books small Invoice variances in accordance with guidelines
• Routing discrepant invoice details to the responsible associate in the local entity for resolution
• Provides daily status report in relation to number of documents scanned and indexed and number of documents outstanding by category
• Archive and returns original documents to the local entities in the prescribed format
• Ensures any equipment failure or problems are escalated and appropriate action taken to rectify any faults
• Provides general assistance and support to the Team Leader
• Acting as point of contact for all operational matters of scanning and indexing team processes
• Track of the teams targets and suggesting actions to TL
• Resolving teams incidents with the supervision of the TL

Job Qualifications and Educational Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years general working experience
• Accounting or Finance experience is an asset
• Written and spoken English skills
• Intermediate knowledge of data entry
• Analytical thinking
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Excellent detail orientation
• Intermediate level of problem solving judgment and research
• Works in fast paced environment
• Meets Deadlines/Time Management
