We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HR Business Partner to align our HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and business needs for CloudBlue, a business unit of Ingram Micro. In addition our Global Business Intelligence team.

Ultimately, you should be able to act as a consultant on human resources management and organizational changes.

This full-time permanent opportunity would be based out of our downtown Toronto office conveniently located right outside Union Station. We are currently working in a hybrid model where you will be working 2 days on-site and 3 days remote.

Position Summary:

• Performs a variety of HR activities.
• Partners with, and builds strong relationships with, leaders and key decision-makers in relevant functions/divisions to optimize business success through HR initiatives.
• Takes a holistic approach to analyzing HR issues, resolving problems and proposing solutions.
• May investigate, mediate, and resolve employee relations issues.
• May provide coaching and counsel to business leaders, managers and employees.
• Brings best practice and external perspectives to strategic and operational business discussions and people management decision-making.
• Applies general understanding of all areas of human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, HRIS, equal opportunity and diversity, data analysis, etc.
• Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends.
• Develops, implements, and ensures the ongoing effectiveness of all internal processes and systems; Develops and executes an efficient infrastructure that can deliver HR services consistently, responsively and cost-effectively.
• Ensures efficiency and accuracy of HR processes and transactions.
• Lead the relocation of associates from other countries & locations.

What you bring to the role:

• Four-year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field).
• Minimum 8 years of functional experience including a minimum of 5 years of position-specific experience.
• Recognized subject matter expert with specialized knowledge in the function.
• Experience with a global company and working with leaders in other countries.
• Manages large projects or processes.
• Limited oversight from manager.
• Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower-level professionals.
• Problems faced are difficult and often complex. Influences others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
• Provides solutions to a variety of advanced complex technical projects or business issues requiring state-of-the-art technical or industry knowledge.
• Maybe the in-house expert on specific technologies or within the job function area.
• Complete understanding and wide application of advanced technical principles, theories and concepts in a specialized field. Possess broad knowledge of the professional field and other related functions.
• Goals are provided to the incumbent in form of desired results. Determines and develops an approach to solve functional area-related issues.
• Possess the strongest of skills acquired through advanced training, study, and experience.
