Summary:

Evaluates roles, compensation packages and other programs, keeps abreast of legislation, trends, advances and/or new technology and makes recommendations for changes and improvements.  Participates in compensation surveys and ensures competitive pay practices are maintained. Provides Compensation analytical support to Senior Compensation team members.  Prepares and maintains Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, PowerPoint and other PC based tools.  Works with external vendors to develop and/or administer compensation programs or systems. 

Your Role:

  • Pulls market data for job evaluation requests
  • Supports Compensation team in preparing executive and non-executive new hire and promotion letters to include relocation agreements
  • Assists with annual total rewards processes.  Responsibilities will require analytical support to include gathering, comparing, reviewing and updating information to ensure accuracy and simplifying processes.
  • Sets-up new and updates change to job codes, salary ranges and job descriptions in HRIS system for salary administration and recruitment purposes
  • Prepares various ad hoc reporting/analysis equity related projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR or related field
  • 1-2 years in Human Resources, preferably in Compensation area
  • Experienced with technology in general, technical concepts and automation; highly competent using Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and web-based applications.
  • Excellent customer service skills, responsiveness to client needs and accountability for actions. Self-motivated, goal oriented, dependable and fast learner; able to work independently and with a team in fast paced, challenging, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent telephone and written communication skills. Strong analytical, organization, attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Aptitude for learning quickly and building on knowledge over time. 
  • Well organized person who can handle many tasks at one time.
