Accountant Specialist - Replacement maternity leave

To compliment this dynamic team, we are currently looking for an Accountant Specialist for a maternity leave replacement in our Ingram Micro Italy office near Milan (in Settala).

Responsibilities:

• General ledger
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Good knowledge of vat law and its fulfillments
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
• Assist with accounting projects
• Secures financial information by completing database backups
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
• E-invoicing archiving activities

Requirements

• 2-3-year work experience in accounting/finance in international companies
• Excellent organizing abilities
• Great attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Fluent in English
