About role:
As the ANZ Brand and Communications manager, you will shape a company’s outward image, build our brand and raise brand awareness and effectively create the narrative of a brand. To do that, you’ll need to uncover industry & customer insights and deliver innovative marketing campaigns. Advise what can attract our customers and prospects and how we can improve customer experience. Ultimately, you’ll help us improve our company’s reputation and drive growth.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Marketing, ANZ and you will work closely with global marketing, in-country marketing, business partners, stakeholder to achieve the business objective and deliverables.
**This is a 12-month fixed term contract with possibilities of extension to permanent.
Objectives of this role:
- Drive advocacy and awareness of Ingram Micro’s value prop through various channel influencers/analysts
- Serve as a thought leader promoting Ingram Micro’s go-to-market messaging
- Elevate our brand platform using data as evidence to tell our story
- Support executive decision making through channel updates and data trend analysis
- Position Ingram Micro as a valuable partner in the IT Channel
Responsibilities:
- Develop brand strategies that resonate with the target audience or customers
- Lead brand campaigns by collaborating with teams across different verticals such as sales, marketing, creative, legal, and so on
- Analyze data and identify trends that help shape brand messaging and the respective marketing assets, including awards submissions, PR, video scripts, infographics and more
- Collaborate closely with industry influencers, analysts, thought leaders, customers, and vendors to both validate and advocate for the company’s brand platform and go-to-market message.
- Develop messaging strategies by sourcing impactful data and testimonials
- Utilize research to inform leaders of key learnings to support business decisions, influence the brand, shape the product roadmap, and impact the sales funnel.
- Develop and lead ANZ public relations strategy and communication
- Build editorial calendar to drive thought-leadership and brand awareness
- Guide execution team, in partnership with 3rd party support
- Nurture and strengthen existing industry relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
- Continuous analysis of the company’s brand positioning and consumer insights
Skills and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Brand and or PR, with a focus on B2B markets
- You’re creative, possess a strategic mind and have experience in implementing targeted brand campaigns
- Proven work experience as a Brand and Content marketing leader
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
- A clear understanding of the B2B content journey
- Outstanding communication skills and comfortability presenting to stakeholders at various organizational levels, in-person and virtually
- General IT channel and/or tech market knowledge
- Knowledge of competitive landscape, customer behaviour, performance and predictive analytics
- Ability to solve functional-area related issues and make a significant contribution to processes and systems
- Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
- Project management skills and attention to detail
- Highly motivated self-starter attitude with a high degree of curiosity and drive to learn, grow and lead
