Note - This is a hybrid role that requires a minimum of 3 days per month in the office (CW9 7UA)

Are you an experienced Monitoring Engineer looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a skilled professional to play a key role in optimising, configuring, and managing montitoring solutions for both new and existing customers. Your role will be crucial in ensuring peak performance, proactive service delivery, minimising downtime and enhancing performance.


We use LogicMonitor as our monitoring tool. While experience with LogicMonitor is beneficial, it is not essential, as training will be provided.

As a Monitoring Engineer you will;

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day administration of LogicMonitor, ensuring it’s configured for maximum performance and reliability.

  • Implement and oversee monitoring for a variety of customer devices and technologies, adhering to best practices to reduce noise and false alerts.

  • Identify and address monitoring issues swiftly, ensuring minimal disruption to service.

  • Drive enhancements in our monitoring services, crafting strategies to decrease downtime and elevate service quality.

  • Leverage your expertise in API calls, PowerShell, and SQL to develop bespoke monitoring solutions tailored to our clients' specific needs.

  • Ensure all monitoring configurations align with industry standards, delivering secure, reliable outcomes.

  • Act as a go-to expert on monitoring tools, offering guidance and support to internal teams and clients alike.

  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in monitoring technologies, incorporating them into our practices.

  • Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date documentation of monitoring setups and procedures for easy access by stakeholders.

To set you up for success we are looking for the following skills and experience;

  • Proven experience with a range of monitoring tools

  • Strong background in configuring and monitoring network devices

  • Familiarity with additional monitoring tools

  • Experience in developing custom monitoring solutions using API calls, PowerShell, and SQL

  • Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Cloud (Azure, AWS) monitoring and administration

  • Experience within managed services environments
