Key Qualifications:

  • Strong background in Cisco Solutions, IE, Networking, Datacenter, and/Or security.
  • Strong presentations skills
  • Ideally partner experience, working with or working for
  • Strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with partners, Sales, vendor BU counterparts to help drive Cisco sales
  • Supporting partners on the Cisco Enterprise agreements
  • Continuous learning of product and Cisco solutions

A Business Transformation Engineer provides pre-sales consultation, training, demonstration and education to partners with a goal of helping them build and/or enhance their practice. This is executed by expanding their business with new and emerging vendors/products/services (i.e., solutions), and with a practical result of growing their business with Ingram Micro at a faster rate. This role builds reseller and vendor relationships and gain trusted status for transparent collaboration and planning of business needs. Comprehensively educates partners on best-in-class IT solutions to facilitate the building of practices in areas of focus. Raises the technical proficiency of the customer to win more business through sound product and technical focus and market relevance. Understands the partner sales organization and identifies and engages key stakeholders.

Your role:

  • Widely recognized as a highly independent and self-sufficient associate, who requires little to no direction to create and sustain success.
  • Proven track record of high sales, business, and financial acumen - in addition to holding the prerequisite technical skills.
  • Should have a well-rounded understanding of complete technology solutions and be able to do the following:
  • Install, configure and maintain equipment required to build working solution outcomes leveraging multi-vendor deployments.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations explaining solutions and services to customers and end users.
  • Plan, design and demo solutions to meet customer needs/requirements and align solutions with existing customer initiatives and infrastructure.
  • Understands market awareness that differentiates industry solutions (Security, Cloud, Data Center, Networking).

Technical Skills/Experience:

  • Hands-on proficiency with an array of technology solutions in the areas of Data Center and Cloud virtualization, Network infrastructure, Cyber Security and complimentary software integrations
  • Presentation experience (in person, virtual)
  • Interfacing with technical, sales and executive personas
  • Should hold fundamental industry certifications or accreditations aligned to technologies or vendors.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Receives moderate level of guidance.
  • Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall accuracy.
  • General proficiency with various tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job. May need to consult with Senior/Specialist staff members on some technical issues.
  • A four-year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) and 3 years functional experience including a minimum 1-year position specific experience.
  • In addition to the specified requirements, we seek candidates who can contribute fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and inspire positive changes within the department and Ingram Micro as a whole. This proactive approach aims to foster personal growth, enhance knowledge, and elevate sales for both internal and external partners.

Salary plus AIP bonus

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $78,000.00 - $124,800.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
