Position Summary

The Vendor Manager is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between Ingram Micro and strategic vendor partners, with a strong focus on Cybersecurity solutions and partner growth across the LATAM region. This role drives vendor program execution, business development initiatives, account management activities, and revenue growth while ensuring strong collaboration between vendors, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Cybersecurity background combined with experience in vendor management, sales, and account management. This role requires the ability to build strategic relationships, manage complex vendor initiatives, support go-to-market activities, and identify opportunities to expand business within the region.

This position requires bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English and the ability to travel throughout LATAM as needed.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the primary liaison between vendors and Ingram Micro for strategic business initiatives and day-to-day operations.
  • Drive vendor programs, marketing initiatives, training activities, and partner enablement efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, internal stakeholders, sales teams, and partners.
  • Collaborate with sales and account management teams to identify new business opportunities and support revenue growth initiatives.
  • Support Cybersecurity-focused vendor strategies and help position solutions within the market.
  • Review and negotiate vendor contract terms and assist in resolving contractual or invoice-related discrepancies.
  • Monitor vendor performance and recommend improvements to drive operational and business success.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support go-to-market strategies, promotions, and business planning activities.
  • Deliver presentations, business updates, and enablement sessions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain awareness of Cybersecurity market trends, technologies, and competitive positioning.
  • Travel throughout LATAM region as needed to support vendor and partner relationships, meetings, and business initiatives.

What you bring to the role

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
  • Four-year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field).
  • Minimum 8 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years position-specific experience.
  • 3–4 years of experience in Cybersecurity with strong knowledge of industry best practices, technologies, and market trends.
  • Proven experience in sales, vendor management, or account management, preferably within the Cybersecurity industry.
  • Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and influencing skills across multiple stakeholders and business functions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive-level audiences.
  • Ability to manage large projects, strategic initiatives, and multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% across LATAM.

  • Provides solutions to a variety of complex technical and business challenges requiring advanced industry knowledge.
  • May serve as the internal expert on specific Cybersecurity technologies, vendor programs, or strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrates broad knowledge of the professional field and related business functions.
  • Exercises independent judgment in determining methods and approaches to achieve business objectives.
  • Possesses advanced skills acquired through experience, training, and industry expertise.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision while influencing business decisions and driving strategic outcomes.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $105,500.00 - $179,400.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
