Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Manager to manage and grow the assigned technology portfolio. The role will be responsible for driving vendor relationships, business planning, product lifecycle management, demand generation, profitability, and market growth across Server, Storage, Backup, and Data Protection solutions.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, vendor management experience, and the ability to work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Channel Partners to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Vendor Management

  • Own and manage the complete product portfolio for Server, Storage, Backup, and Data Protection solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and technology vendors.

  • Develop and execute business plans to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market penetration.

  • Manage vendor programs, rebates, incentives, pricing, and business reviews.

  • Drive quarterly and annual business planning with technology vendors.

Revenue & Profitability Management

  • Achieve assigned revenue, gross margin, and market share targets.

  • Monitor business performance and implement strategies to maximize profitability.

  • Identify growth opportunities across existing and new customer segments.

  • Work with sales teams to accelerate pipeline creation and opportunity conversion.

Demand Planning & Inventory Management

  • Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability.

  • Optimize working capital through effective stock planning and inventory control.

  • Monitor inventory ageing and implement corrective actions.

  • Coordinate with operations and procurement teams to ensure timely product availability.

Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy

  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and technology solutions.

  • Plan promotions, channel programs, incentives, and partner engagement activities.

  • Work with marketing teams on events, webinars, campaigns, and lead-generation initiatives.

  • Monitor effectiveness of marketing programs and recommend improvements.

Channel & Sales Enablement

  • Support channel partners and internal sales teams with product positioning and competitive strategies.

  • Conduct product training sessions, technical workshops, and partner enablement programs.

  • Develop sales kits, presentations, solution briefs, and competitive battle cards.

  • Assist sales teams in strategic opportunities and large deal closures.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

  • Track industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments.

  • Analyze market demand and customer requirements.

  • Develop competitive positioning strategies to strengthen market presence.

  • Provide insights and recommendations for portfolio expansion.

Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Engage with key customers, system integrators, and channel partners.

  • Participate in customer meetings, solution discussions, and business reviews.

  • Support the development of strategic customer relationships.

  • Work closely with partners to create and close business opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Vendor teams.

  • Drive alignment between business objectives and execution plans.

  • Prepare business reports, forecasts, dashboards, and management presentations.

  • Ensure smooth execution of commercial and operational processes.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
