The Opportunity
We are seeking a Managing Director Switzerland to lead and accelerate our Swiss business. As the senior executive for the country, you will define and execute the market strategy, drive profitable growth, and strengthen our position as a leading technology partner.
This role combines strategic leadership, commercial accountability, and operational excellence, requiring a strong external focus and deep local market understanding.
You will be a key member of the DACH leadership team, partnering closely with regional and global stakeholders to align Switzerland with Ingram Micro’s broader strategy.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead total country P&L with full accountability for revenue growth, profitability, and cash performance
- Define and execute the Swiss market strategy, aligned with DACH and global priorities
- Drive profitable growth across core distribution, advanced solutions, and digital platforms
- Strengthen relationships with vendors, customers, and partners, positioning Ingram Micro as a trusted strategic advisor
- Lead and inspire a high-performing leadership team and organization
- Identify and capture new business opportunities, including innovation and ecosystem expansion
- Ensure operational excellence, efficiency, and scalable processes
- Represent Ingram Micro externally with key industry stakeholders, regulators, and customers
- Champion ESG, compliance, and inclusive leadership practices
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Managing Director, Country Manager, or senior GM with full P&L responsibility
- Strong track record of driving growth and transformation in complex, matrixed, or multinational environments
- Deep understanding of the Swiss technology, distribution, or B2B ecosystem
- Demonstrated success in business development, partnerships, and stakeholder management
- Inspirational leader with the ability to build, develop, and retain high-performing teams
- Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline and decision-making capability
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (French is a plus)
- University degree in business, technology, or related field; MBA preferred
