About the Role

Ingram Micro is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Platform Specialist to support platform operations, transaction processing, and user adoption initiatives within our Xvantage ecosystem. In this role, you will serve as a critical resource for handling customer inquiries, supporting complex transactions, maintaining data accuracy, and driving operational excellence.

As a Platform Specialist, you will collaborate with Account Managers, Business Owners, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly, improve business processes, identify platform adoption opportunities, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys problem-solving, data analysis, and working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and customer service are key priorities.

What You'll Do

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently while meeting established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Handle unique or complex transaction requests that require resolution outside of standard platform functionality.
  • Review, validate, and update customer requests and transaction records to maintain data integrity.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for platform support inquiries, providing timely and accurate solutions.
  • Partner with Account Managers and Business Owners to turn platform opportunities into measurable business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer adoption and utilization of the Xvantage platform.
  • Generate data quality reports, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Support process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate concerns when necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the broader team.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; OR
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and 5+ years of related professional experience.
  • Experience in customer support, operations, transaction processing, platform support, order management, or related business functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting digital platforms, business systems, or customer-facing technologies.
  • Knowledge of distribution, technology, channel sales, or related industries.
  • Experience analyzing operational data and creating reports or dashboards.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and platform adoption initiatives.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $43,800.00 - $70,100.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
