Embarking on a journey within the unique culture of Finance at Ingram Micro offers a wealth of opportunities for personal and professional growth. Learn more about what it is like working in Finance at our organization through the lens of our associate Kristiana Kraychnikov, Accounting Manager based in Austria.

When we asked Kristiana what skills are required for a Finance role at her team, she shared with us: "The strong understanding of accounting and finance processes. High level of efficiency. You need the good technical skills because also sometimes we have accounting problems who have high cost and impacts. You need to be able to work with different software tools and you also need a lot attention to detail. Ability to analyse a huge amount of data because the accounting of such a big company is connected to huge amount of data and you must be able to solve problems as fast as possible.
Also working under pressure especially at the end of the month There are a lot of deadlines. And Excel of course is my best friend.”

Our Finance departments are vital to our success here at Ingram Micro and like every department, skills, and high-performance coming from our associates is essential to our success.

Continuing our conversation with Kristiana, she highlighted "My role involves overseeing all accounting processes on a daily, on a monthly, and on a yearly basis. This includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, intercompany. I’m at the last stop for a question and for cases which have not been resolved from the leaders of the finance departments. I regularly deal with accounting processes development in order to increase accuracy in all accounting processes and I'm reviewing all of the accounting reconciliations. I also prepare and send reports to the authorities and check payment runs. And of course, I participate in all kind of audits, financial audits. I have a lot of different ad hoc tasks and year end tasks, and I'm also responsible for the transfer of the accounting from the US GAAP to local.”
