Key Responsibilities
Azure Engineering & Implementation
- Deploy and configure Azure infrastructure including Virtual Networks, VNets/peerings, NSGs/ASGs, private endpoints, storage solutions, Azure Firewall, Azure Backup, Key Vault, Azure AD/Entra integrations, and monitoring solutions.
- Implement Azure landing zones aligned to Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), ensuring scalable governance, policy enforcement, tagging standards, and resource organization.
- Lead migrations from on‑premises or other cloud environments into Azure using Azure Migrate, ASR, and modern migration frameworks.
- Implement cost‑optimization best practices including sizing, reservations, automation schedules, and FinOps recommendations.
- Configure and operationalize Azure IaaS/PaaS resources: App Services, SQL PaaS, AVD, automation accounts, log analytics, and policy-as-code.
Modern Work & M365 Engineering
- Design and deliver Microsoft 365 Modern Work solutions including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Implement security and compliance controls: Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Purview sensitivity labels, retention policies, and zero‑trust aligned configurations.
- Engineer and deploy Intune device management: Windows Autopilot, application packaging, compliance policies, endpoint hardening, and update rings.
- Support customer readiness and deployment of Microsoft Copilot for M365, reviewing data access, security posture, and governance dependencies.
Project Delivery & Execution
- Serve as the lead on assigned partner projects, owning delivery activities, timelines, and technical outcomes.
- Follow standard operating procedures and document requirements, technical designs, and implementation plans.
- Execute deployment tasks according to SOW, documenting progress and risks for Project Managers and partners.
- Provide high‑quality project documentation, runbooks, configuration exports, and environment handoff materials.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate scheduling, risk mitigation, and change control.
Partner and Team Engagement & Communication
- Open communication with Project Manager and Project Lead Engineer on any road blocks, issues, or possible negative outcomes of delivery
- Engage with Project Managers, Project Lead Engineers, and Delivery Team on status of project, status of milestone delivery, and scheduled tasks
- Escalate blockers, gaps, or scope challenges proactively with clear recommendations.
Cloud Services Delivery Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Mentor junior engineers and provide escalation support for complex delivery tasks.
- Contribute to repeatable delivery frameworks, templates, automated scripts, and internal tooling.
Required Qualifications
- 3-6+ years of hands‑on experience delivering Microsoft Cloud projects for enterprise or SMB clients.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure infrastructure, governance, networking, security, and migration tooling.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture including Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, and Entra ID.
- Proven experience deploying Intune/Endpoint Management, Autopilot, security baselines, and compliance policies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project workloads across multiple clients in an Cloud Services Delivery environment.
- Strong PowerShell skills and familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code concepts (Bicep/Terraform preferred).
- Excellent communication skills, requirements gathering, and documentation capabilities.
- Ability to work independently in structured and unstructured project environments.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Security Engineer Associate, Administrator Associate, M365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, or Identity & Access Administrator.
- Experience with advanced Azure services: AVD, App Gateway/WAF, API Management, automation accounts, Sentinel/SIEM integrations.
- Familiarity with project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
Experience in Microsoft partner ecosystem or prior MSP/consulting background.
