What you will do:
Monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance of:
Network (LAN, WAN, Wireless, VOIP) and network equipment (multiplexers, hubs and routers
Voice and Telecom technologies (PBX, video conference, and telephones)
Desktop technologies (Operating System, Windows, Apple)
Implementation of standards in compliance with IS security standards:
Accomplish Global Site Support mission by completing required duties to high quality standard and within SLA
Ensures all time and work effort for incidents and tasks are recorded in the ticketing system
Identifies and support operational objectives and procedures by conferring with managers and employees to evaluate input and output requirements
Prepares and support users by writing and maintaining documentation that provide help to answer questions and resolve problems
Adds and removes users from lists of approved users
Proactively improves current systems by studying practices, procedures and problems and designing modifications
Development and advancement:
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations
Proactively reduce problem tickets by analyzing data and implementing mitigating actions for common incidents
Software and Hardware equipment:
Helps decide which software and hardware products and other equipment are most suited for use within the organization
Manages software licenses orders, license assignment. Makes sure the company is compliant with all software vendors which products are used within the organization
Reviews all IS related invoices and to preform first level approval for payment
Recognizes areas for internal process improvements and develops plan for implementations
Reporting:
Creates weekly reports on the completed tasks. Makes sure new tasks are equally distributed between the Site Support team
Serves as a focal point of all internal IT related matters within the team
Serves as key participant in team meetings
What you will bring:
University education BA/4 year degree preferred
ITIL Foundation is an advantage
3+ year’s experience in an IS/IT position
Ability and knowledge to talk to customers at multiple levels/all areas of the business to formulate business integration plans
Must be able to communicate fluently in local language of site and in English
Working understanding of PBX administration, VoIP, Softphone and CTI technologies
Working understanding of Microsoft Windows, Linux and MacOS operating systems and administration with similar technologies
Conceptual understanding of design, implementation and administration of current communication technologies
Working understanding of the current technologies and techniques with LAN design, implementation, and administration
Working understanding of the current technologies and techniques with desktop support and desktop operating systems
Conceptual understanding of e-commerce technologies, including SOA
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio
Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory operations, Azure Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID, O365 and Intune
Experience in managing, supporting and modifying custom applications based on Microsoft Access VBA is an advantage
Experience in working with Citrix XenApp clients is an advantage
