Principal, Product Manager – B2B E-Commerce & AI Innovation
Position Summary
We are seeking a Principal, Product Manager to drive strategy, roadmap, and execution for our global B2B e-commerce platform. This role requires a customer-focused product leader who combines business acumen, technical understanding, data-driven decision making, and strong stakeholder management to deliver measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is passionate about AI and emerging technologies and can identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and data-driven insights to enhance customer experiences, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate growth.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business objectives.
- Lead product discovery, customer research, and market analysis to identify opportunities and prioritize investments.
- Develop business cases and make data-driven prioritization decisions.
Product Delivery & Execution
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through launch and optimization.
- Partner with Engineering, UX, Data, and Business teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Create and maintain PRDs, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Support Agile development practices and drive successful execution.
Customer & Data Focus
- Champion customer-centric decision making through user research, analytics, and experimentation.
- Define and track KPIs related to customer adoption, engagement, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
- Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
AI & Innovation
- Identify and drive opportunities to leverage AI, ML, Generative AI, and intelligent automation.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to deliver AI-enabled capabilities that create business value.
- Stay current on emerging AI trends and promote responsible AI adoption.
Stakeholder Leadership
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business, operations, engineering, design, and leadership teams.
- Communicate roadmap, priorities, progress, risks, and outcomes effectively.
- Mentor Product Owners and junior product managers while promoting product management best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8-10 years of professional experience, including 8 years in Product Management roles, preferably within B2B e-commerce, SaaS, marketplace, or platform businesses.
- Proven track record of defining product strategy, managing roadmaps, and delivering measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of product discovery, Agile methodologies, analytics, experimentation, and KPI-driven product management.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and discuss APIs, integrations, data platforms, cloud technologies, and software architecture.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, with a passion for driving AI-powered business innovation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and influencing skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams.
