We hear that quite often. Ingram Micro is not a company that makes headlines with large advertising campaigns. Yet, we are one of the world’s leading technology and logistics service providers. Many of the products you use every day or see at your local electronics store have likely passed through one of our warehouses at some point. We tend to operate behind the scenes, but that is exactly where we make a big impact.

Our location is situated in the Straubing-Sand Industrial Park and is easily accessible by car, bicycle, and public transportation. Free parking is available directly on site.

You can reach us by public transport via the RB32 regional rail line (stops: “Sand” or “Hafen”) as well as Bus Line 2 (stop: “Europaring Ost”). From there, it is just a short walk to our facility.

Our Straubing logistics center covers nearly 80,000 square meters, making it the largest IT and telecommunications logistics center in Europe. Every day, thousands of orders are processed here for customers in Germany and beyond.

Yes. Many of our colleagues originally trained in a different profession or industry. For many roles, reliability, commitment, and a willingness to learn are more important than a specific educational background. While relevant qualifications are certainly an advantage, they are not always a requirement.

You should be able to communicate effectively in your day-to-day work and understand important instructions as well as safety guidelines. Fluency in German is not required. What matters most is that communication within the team and in everyday work situations runs smoothly.

Working hours vary depending on the department. In our office functions, we operate a flexible trust-based working time model and align our schedules with our customers’ business needs. In logistics, working hours vary by role and may include rotating early, day, or late shifts. Regular night shifts and weekend work are not part of our standard operations. All employees work on the basis of a 38.5-hour workweek.

With a five-day workweek, you are entitled to 30 days of annual leave. In addition, our benefits program gives you the opportunity to enjoy even more time off and tailor your vacation time to your individual needs.

Compensation depends on the specific role and level of responsibility. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a 13th month salary, regular salary reviews, and, depending on the position, additional shift allowances.

That depends on the role. In general, we feel more comfortable in sneakers than in dress shoes. In our warehouse operations, you will of course be provided with all necessary workwear and protective equipment.

For your interview, simply come as you are in neat and comfortable clothing.
